DOAS – SPD is currently implementing eSourcing initiatives as part of the Procurement Transformation Initiative. An effective eSourcing process includes the collaborative development of the RFP Document by the Agency and DOAS. This early involvement improves the overall eRFP solicitation process by:
- Reducing the workload for solicitation development
- Shortening the RFP Posting timeframe
- Facilitating the proposal evaluation process
DOAS – SPD has acquired a license for the electronic solicitation tool eBreviate. The eBreviate tool will serve as a bridge between the current paper based process and the future eSolicitation process in PeopleSoft for the next couple years.
